Tatton Park Social Ride. 42 miles, flattish terrain on mainly quiet roads

This ride is 42 Miles beginning in Marple. The outward ride is along the A555 bypass as far as Styal Road. After 200 yards on Styal Road we take a right along quiet lanes then onto a gravel pathway around the airport perimeter alongside the runway. A great chance to envy holiday makers taking off alongside us. A bit more offroad takes us to the Airport runway tunnels after which we take a left and follow the road to Ashley.

From Ashley we take the road to Tatton. Just before the infamous "Tatton Wall", take a right then next left to follow a country lane for a mile or two. A left turn at the T junction takes us to the Rostherne entrance to Tatton and on to the Stables Cafe. Nice clean toilets here and a large outdoor space to eat, drink and chat.

The return ride goes through the park to Knutsford, Through Knutsford Park then along the main drag towards Mobberley. A left at the brow of the hill takes us back onto quieter roads and on to Wilmslow Park, then the rush down to the Deanwater, left at Church lane then onto the A555 bypass back to the A6.
